Founded in 2021 by Jamey Cox, our company’s roots trace back to Jamey’s early childhood, where his passion for HVAC systems was kindled under the tutelage of his father, starting at age 8.

Jamey’s professional journey began in earnest at 21, when he embarked on subcontracting ventures, specializing in installations and complete system changeouts for residential and commercial facilities.

The vision for CAST was conceived in 2004 in a conversation between Jamey and his father. They envisioned creating a company that would bear their family name and embody their shared values of quality, honesty, and unwavering commitment to service excellence.

CAST, an acronym for Cox Air Systems of Texas, was to be the culmination of this vision. However, the dream was momentarily deferred when Jamey’s father was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer. This period underscored for Jamey the importance of resilience, the strength of family bonds, and the value of keeping one’s word.

After his father’s recovery, Jamey had a renewed sense of purpose. In honor of the shared dreams and the journey he embarked on with his father, he founded CAST Heating & Air Conditioning in 2021.
